Mrs.J.Maokie is rather ill at present with pneumonia. The friends of M rs I. McLeod will regret to hear that she is in the hospital owing to illness, A little boy named Massey, a visitor to Helensville, met with an accident the other day by which he sustained a broken arm. ! Mr J. E: Page, manager of the Union Bank of Australia, Helensville, will shortly transfer to Dargaville, at which place a branch of the bank has been opened. The Rev C. I. Merton, who has been very, ill with influenza, is now nearly himself again, but has not yet been able to go out in the recent rough weather. At last night's meeting of the Glee Club the resignation of Mr J. E. Page as leader was received • with, 'regret, and Miss Bimmer was appointed to that position. Mr Stringer was elected secretary.
