Bowling.

Four rinks from Rocky Nook club (Auckland) were to have visited Helensville last Saturday, which was to be a closing of the season match, but the -bad weather caused the abandonment of the trip. As the Domain greens are to have special attention shortly, top dressing, etc, it does not seem probable that there will be any more matches until next season.

The local club is now consider ing the project of getting its own green. A splendid site has been offered to the club in the vicinity of the tennis courts, and at a very chsap rate. ,

A meeting of the club is advertised for Wednesday evening, May 7th, at 8 o'clock.
