Mrs and Misses Mays left on Monday for their home at Devonport after an enjoyable three weeks' stay at the Hot Springs. By retiring from the Secretaryship of Te Pua school Mr C. H. Spinley severs his connection with school committee work after a period of thirty years' local service, having been previously on the Helensville committee. Mr R. Craven of this town, who carries a number of medals that generally distinguish our esteemed veterans, went to the city on Monday for the ceremonies in connection with the visit of the battleship.
