Bowling.
Tho^ concluding stages of the " Bowls " competition produced some interesting play, though Willis won in easy fashion from Murray, a con-tf-i-t which was exnectol to be much closer. For-the final both Willis and Harris trundled well, victory eventu ally going to the latter by 4* points at the 20th head. The result was in doubt right to this stage, each player having been twice in the lead.
On Saturday a match will be played agdnsfc two lioks of Dargaville bowlers, and Biverhead will afterwards, try conclusions with the visitors.
A smoke concert is being talked of among local players as a fitting wind' up for the season.
