Hunt £2 Os od, v Alf Dickman £7 9s 1 Od. (Before Mr F. V. Frazer S.M.) The Inspector of Awards (E. W. G-ohns) took proceedings against Stewart Bros and Jas Hand for not complying with awards made by the Arbitration Court, the former in respect to their butchery and bakery business and the latter" in respect to his butchery.- In each case he sued for £10, but the Court ordered a cum of £2 and 6s 8d costs to be paid in each case. In a debt case, Stewart Bros v Jerkovitch, claim for £8 7s 4d, plaintiffs were given judgment for £2 2s 6d and costs. Orders were made in respect to the following judgment summonses : —R. Hunter v IS, Anderson £3 19j 3d, Jas Stewart v Aperahawa £4 los Od, Jas/ Stewart v Jacob Mateono £11 4s 2d Jas Stewait v Heinana Para ten a £16 16s lOd, A. H. Povey v W. Bush £1') os 6d, E. Poiter v" R. Rapena £8 12s !od, W. Jowitt v A. Dickman £3 8s 3d, Stewait Bros Ltd v John Edwards £8 11s 9J. Stewart Bros v Joe Hoterini £16 9s Bd, v Heni Rapena£4 llsod, vW. Henry £16 13s 2d, v John Edwards £-J Us Id, v J. W. Hunt £7 Is 9d, Two local youths (brothers) were charged with committing a breach of the peace by fighting in Commercial load, Helensviile, on the sth inst.— Each fined 10s and costs, • A local Territorial had to answer a charge laid under the Defence Act, of failing to attend parade. The Magistrate took into consideration the fact that defendant's occupation of engine cleaning necessitated night work, and dismissed the case. Wednesday, April 16th. A 'First Offender, who consented to a prohibition order against him, had to answer a charge of drunkenness. He was convicted and discharged. The presiding J'sP. wore Messrs W. R. Fosbroke and I. McLeid.
