Mr and Miss Pilcher returned to Auckland on Saturday after a month's health trip to Helensville
Mrs and Misses Mays, of Devonport, are at present on a visit to the Parakai Hot Springs.
Mr F. Russell Baker, inspector for New Zealand Insurance Co, paid a visit to Helensville to-day.
We are pleased to note that Mr D. Stewart, who was recently kept to his bed with illness, is about again.
Mr G. E. Wharton, who has been resident locally for the past six years, intends to start business shortly as a chemist at Onehunga.
Mr F. Pengally, letter-carrier at Helensville, has been transferred to Auckland as assistant post office messenger. He is at present on leave and takes up his new duties at the end of the month. J. H. Farrell, local messenger, has been promoted to the position of letter-carrier, and R. F. Caundle has been appointed messenger.
