. The balance sheet of the above institution for the year ended Dec 31 th, 1912, submitted by the Secretary, Mr U H. fepiuley, and audited and found correct by Mr H. White, Jun., will be passed at the next monthly meeting ot the Library on Friday, February 7. "Receipts Balance in hand from last year 214 10 Subscriptions 9 0 6 Donations 4 3 0 Rent of Reading Room 215 0 Grant for Town Board 5 0 0 Gov. Subsidy 7 8 9 Total £31 2 1 Expenditure. Stamps and Stationery 0 7 6 Cleaning and Lighting 0 13 3 Printing and Advertising , 118 9 New Books and Freight 16 7 6 Insurance 10 0 Furniture and Fitting 3 5 16 2 Cash in hand and Bank 4 18 11 Total £31 2 1 The number of books taken out of the Library during the year was 1155. The new books added were 90, not including magazines. It is the intention of the committee to have a picket fence erected on each end and front of Library building as soon as funds will permit.
