Tb.3 drama is splendidly mounted, the subsidiary parts are capably borne, and in tho title role Madame Bernhardt interprets the character oi a loving and sublimely unselfish woman with suoh power and intensity that she all but triumphs over the limitations of tho silent screen She has many emotions to portrav,fiom light shades of love and tenderness to ihe tragic despair oi: a dying woman, scorned by the maufor whose sake she has sacrifice! everything. The way in which Madamo Sarah Bernhardt responds to these oxacting demands goes a long way towards justifying the fame which she has enjoyed for many years. There will also be a strong supporting programme of dramatic, comedy aud topical sub« jects aud an acrobatic turn by Miss Eta will be pictured. It is altogether a programme that should not be missed.
