There was an average yarding, and piicps were a shade higher than last week. Best.oxen sold to 28s, others 24s to 26s ; cows and heifers, 20s to 24h ; steers sold at from LG to Ll2 12s 6d . cows and heifers, L 4 10s to L 7 17s 6d. Calves were penned in less numbers than usual, and sold at lato rates. Heavy vealers L 2 10s to L 3 3s, medium weights 30s to 355, lighter sorts 20s to 28s. fresh-dropped 3s to 13s. Sheep came in good numbers, and prices were firm at last week's rates.
