Racehorses Burnt.
A Reef ton telegram states that a fire occured in Macmahon's stables, when five horses which were to have competed in the races were destroyed. They were Tappe's Amberstone, Rose's Daunton, Shield's Canadian, Colvin's Merchantman, and Middlepark's Armstrong. The origin of the fire is unknown.
