POST AND TELEGRAPH HOLIDAY
The local Postmaster supplies us with the following Postal holiday duties. — Tuesday 24 th inst Christmas Eve— The office will be open from 7 p,m, to 8 p.m. for delivery over counter of town letters (registered as well as ordinary). Wairoa mails will close at 8 p.m. instead of 9.15 p.m. on the 25 th inst. . Wednesday 25th inst., Christmas Day.—Will be observed as a close holiday by post and telegraph branches, Auckland, Woodhill, Reweti, Waimauku, and Kumeu re ails will close at 8 a.m. The telephone exchange will not be open. Thursday 26th icst, Boxing Day.— The office will be open from 9 a.m to 10 a.m, in all branches except Money Order and Saving Bank. Auckland. Woodhill, Waimauku, Rewiti and Kumeu mails will close a 6.30 a.m. Parakai and Northern line mails will close ot 8 a.m. The usual Otamatea mails will not Ibe despatched till Friday 27th inst. There will be one complete delivery by earlier. Delivery to start at 7.30 a.m. The Telephone exchange will not be open
