ENTERTAINMENT.
The entertainment held in the For esters' Hall on Friday last in aid of the Presbyterian Church was only fairly attended. The musical part of the programme which preceded the production of " Little Red Riding Hood," was a splendid one, all the items being well received and appreciated, was as follows :--Pianoforte Solo, Miss Ohannon; Duet: "The Gleaners," Misses Norton ; "'Because I love you," Miss H.Norton ; " My Am Folk,"" " Roses," and "Rock of Ages," Miss Fletcher ; Pianoforte Duet: Mrs and Master Laßoehe; Violin Solo, Mrs Hughes ; Mandoline Solo, Miss Brown : " You shan't conift and play in our yard," Misses D. and H. Kirgan ; and a Pole Drill by IB children, which was splendidly executed. The reproduction of " Little Red Riding Hood," was again good, all the artiste taking their parts in fine style. The staging again was especially good, while the fairy dances presented a pleasing picture and showed '.hat no pain? had been spared in bringing the dances to perfection The Rev.
