THE FIRST WOOL SALE.

AT TOWN -HALL TO-DAY,

The first wool sales of 1912-13 series, commenced in Auckland this morning. There are a large number of buyers; from England, Amef ica,_ and the^Qontinent, who were busy yesterday inspecting the 8,309 bales to be offered. The quantity listed is: well ahead of the total tor the first sale last year. The catalogue is as follows : — New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, 2,992 bales; Dalgety; and Company, 2,170 bales ; A. Buckland arid Sons, 1,999 bales ; G. W. Binny and Sons, 1,150 bales.
