Who Said Strike.

Last Friday no little excitement was caused in our township when it was learned that the v Strike " epidemic had broken out, and " all " the men employed on the drainage works had decided to come «• Out on Strike." Like Mr Joe Rae's Chinaman, the query was " whaffor." After interviewing one or two men we found that one or two men employed were getting a shilling or so more than others, and they struck for the extra " bob." The strike did not stop progress much as work proceeded about the same on Monday morning, and as the matter did not occupy the minds of the Town Board members at Mon* day evening's meeting we conclude it was a •'" blow out."
