Death of Mr R. M. Cameron.

The death of one of Helensviile'a most respected townsmen of long standing, Mr E. M. Cameron, at the age of GO, at 4.30 yesterday afternoon, came as a great blow to the district. Although the deceased gentleman had been ailing for some time, and for the past few weeks had been confined to his bed, • his death was unexpected and sudden, and cast a gloom over the township. It was decided that Mr Cameron had to undergo an operation and yesterday afternoon he was removed to the Private Hospital for that purpose, when shortly after arrival there, he suddenly collapsed and expired, Mrs Cameron being at his side at the time.

Funeral will take place to-morrow afternoon.
