A meeting of the above was held on Saturday evening last. Mr 0, JEL Spinley in the chair, and a'. good attendance. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. A letter was received from the Auckland Farmers' Union asking the Association to join with. them, in a deputation to the Prime Minister during his next visit to Auckland, urging the establishment of an Agricultural College in the Auckland province.-—lt was decided to ask Capt. Hammond to act as a member of the deputation on behalf of the Association, Mr Card's offer for printing Scliedul es, etc., was accepted, The entries for the contesting competition will close on Nov. 16th, the test to be t iken on the 20th inst. Prize moneys for the forthcoming show was allotted.
