Mr Hill supplies the following report for July ; —4.16 ins of rain fell during the month, on 16 days. Maximum 90 points on the 9th. Former years; 1907, 5.62 ins; 1908, 7.25'; 1909, 6.1 ; 1910, 6.43; 1911, 2.29.
A very severe frost was felt here on Sunday night, August 11th, the thermometer at the School, four feet above the surface of the ground Iregistenng four degrees of frost (28 Fahrenheit).
