The Auckland Star, January 14th, 1910 says—The recital given by Miss Valeric Collins last evening prov-* ed a decided success. The whole pre. formance was a bit of good dramatic singing. Besides a fine voice of considerable power and compass, she has also the vnluanle asset of a pleasing manner, as if it wore a pleasure to oblige when an encore is wanted. When it is remembered that Miss Collins is still in her teens, it must be admitted that she achieved a thorough success, and one that augers well for her future.
