As will be seen from an advertisement in another column, Technical Glasses in Millinery, Dressmaking, Cookery and Woodwork wiU com* mence this week at the new Helensville Technical School. We understand that the Millinery and Dressmaking Classes will be in, charge of Miss Asia Groldie, who is,, also an in* structor in these subjects at the Auck> land Technical College, and who holds first- class certificates of the City and Guilds of London Institute. The Millinery Classes will be held on Wednesday afternoons, and the Dressmaking on Wednesday evenings. The Cookery Class will be on Thursday evenings, in charge of Miss Griffiths, who has had considerable experience as a Cookery teacher under the Auckland Board, and -who holds a first-clnss certificate under the City and Guilds of London Institute. The Woodwork Class, under Mr T. A, J. Askew, will also be held on Thursday evenings. Mr Askew, in addition to having been a foreman Cabinetmating with one of the large Auckland firms, hoMs certificates in Cabinetmaking and Woodwork under City and Guilds of London Institute, and has had considerable experience in teaching, being at the present time instructor in Cabinetmaking at the Auckland Technical College,
