(A Correspondent.) ' The fortnightly Socials are proving as attractive as ever-and seeing some of the younger members who attend did not take part in the dancing, it was" thought advisable- to start «t Dancing Class. A preliminary was held last 'week, about twenty being present,' when several ladies and gentleman attended to assist instructing the beginners, and it is hoped they will soon be able to join in and derive as much enjoyment as their elders do. A start is to be made as soon as the weather takes up, to get the tennis lawns in order for next season; some light-handed individual was kind enough to take some of the wire netting from the courts. Since writing last two new sattleis have come to the district and I believe two or three more of the local farms are about to change hands "
