PARLIAMENTARY NOTES.
Mr. Wilford wishes the House to instruct the Government to .at once obtain full information and statistics in reference to the profit sharing and co-partnership operations of the thirty gas companies in Great Britain, and.to furnish to the House anyj information it may be in possession cf in re^ lation to the same and especially the statistics produced by Sir ' George Liversay in relation to Earl Grey's suggestion re profit sharing and copartnership.
Sir Joseph AVard has tabled a question for the Prime Minister, to know if hs will make requisite provision this session for the erection o- c the promised public monument to the memory of the late Mr. Seddon, towards the cost of which a considerable sum of money, contributed by the public and the railway services, is loged in the public account.
