TRAIN MATTERS
On Saturday llie improved train services, inaugurated by Mr. Myers, came into existence. The Minister, in an interview said lie had made a specialty of suburban services. The alterations in the inrprqyed Auckland services include an' express service daily both, ways on the Helensville line, while also on the Northern line where formerly three trains run daily to Swanson, there will now be four from Auckland to Swanson and five returning, besides a double Sunday gervice to "Waikume'e, wlu'ch trains will be extended to Swanson. Then, on the Henderson run, the number of trains both ways have been increased from eleven to thirteen, with an improvement in the schedule, and to Avondole, where formerly 13 trains ra.n daily, the.re will np>v' be 14 and $\e same n^'inb.er bap.k to, Auckland, h'esi^es an additional train, from Auolct land to Avondale on Saturday aftornoon, and another from Avon dale to Newmarket daily.
