PERRY'S PICTURES.
♦ Last Wednesday evening Perry's Electric Picture Co. showed to a good house in the Foresters' Hall, and presented a number of star films direct from the Metropolitan Theatres, which were all received and appreciated by those present, the clearness of the pictures being good, which proves that this company has an up-to-date plant. Amongst the films shown were " Man to Man " (dramatic), " Lilian's Christmas Day " (drama), " Billy the Kid " (drama) while amongst the comics were " The Runaway Lorry and barrells," which in itself was well worth the price of admission, " Tweedledam in one of his tricks," "Tontiline as Cab Driver," then there were Pathe and Gaunout Gazettes, Study in Flowers, Paris Fashions and others. The Company showed again on Thursday evening, there being a good attendance, and a change of programme was gone through, including "A Visit to the Zoo," Jumping into death's Jaws," " When stormy winds do blow," etc., etc. We understand the Company are making arrangements to play in Helensville every Wednesday and Thursday weekly for a season, and taking the last week's pictures as a sample, the Company should have good houses all through, guaranteeing as they do, a change of programme every evening, having arranged with West's Company fora large supply of the latest pictures produced.
