HELENSVILLE TOWN BOARD REQUEST SUSPENSION. „ The f°J!. owl"ng wire was sent to the (xeneral Manager of Railways WelN ington, on Tuesday : -"After due and iull consideration at a meeting of Helensville Town Board I am inducted by the Board to earnestly request you to suspend putting in to operation the running of the amendai timetable to Helensville, as, in the Board's opinion the timetable is most unsuitable The Board is calling a meeting of Local Bodies and Chambers of Commerce, and Steamship Companies of the Kai-. para districts as arranged with tlie late Minister, to be held 25th inst., at -^ Helensvilie, to fully consider the matT ter.--James Stewart, Chairman." To which the following reply was received :—"The operations of the proposed timetable will be suspende&£ until a further communication is re-*l ceived fr >m you after meeting on 25th instant—T.
