TRAINS TO HELENSVILLE SPEEDED UP.
HELENSVILLE NOT SATISFIED. A Press Association telegram says that, replying to representations regarding the inadequacy and inconvenience of the Helensville branch railway service, the Hon. A. M. Myers, Minister of Railways, has informed Mr Ooates, Kaipara, that a now timetable will cjme into operation on May Ist. Copies of the proposed schedule have been forwarded to the local authorities concerned, as was promised.. The journey to Helensville, a trial of patience which sometimes took throe hours, will novs be cut down by 50 minutes while the reverse journey will be shortened by 33 minutes, ;
