A very interesting erent took place on Saturday, -when several members of the Woodliill Tennis Club journeyed to Waimauku to play the return match which resulted in a very meritorious win for Woodhill by 9 sets to 2 That most of the sets were keenly contested, is evidenced by the fact that 8 of the 1.1 matches were respectively won by the narrow margin of one ™>mt These friendly contests are much appreciated by the Waimauku Club who cannot help admiring the sportsmanlike way in which Woodlnll •Tversevdred in face of previous defeat, and heartily congratulate them on their richly deserved vistory, The scores were as follows; - Mr Roberts and Mrs chms v.
