THE FARMER.
MANURE FOR GRASSLANDS
No farmer could be better pleased than to,see his crops, his stock, and especially his pastures, looking bright and. well full of succulent grasses. Yet how many men blame themselves/ when their meadows go brown, when the feed gets patchy ? They forget that, a little foresight would haye kept their paddocks fresh and luxuriant. This foresight meant using the famous " Westfield " " A "Special Grass Manure for ' top- dressing their land. This is the great help towards better and richer feed. We draw our readers particular attention to the. new advertisement of Messrs Kempthorhe Prosser & Co's N. Z, Drug Co' Ltd., which appear elsewhore in this issue. The Farmer who reads this ad? and orders " West*, field" will be better off.
