NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS. Saturday night, December 30th, there will be a delivery of letters (registered as well as ordinary) from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, New Year's Day, January Ist, 1612. The Office will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. for transmission of telegrams only. Mails for Auckland (one only) Woodhill, Kumeu, Rewiti, and Waimauku will close at 7 a.m. The usual Otamatea mail will not go till Tuesday 2nd, closing 9 a.m. Dargaville (Wairoa), Parakai* and Wellsford mails will close at 9 a.m. The Telephone exchange will not oe open.
