At the Albert "Yards on Friday last horses came forward in larger numbers than the previous week, and sold at ruling prices. Heavy draught horses sold at from L 25 to L 35: medium draught, Lls to L 23 ; light harness horses L 3 5s toLlo; hacks, L 5 to Ll7. The advertised ponies from Haw era sold at from L 7 10s to Ll7 ; cobs toLl4 10s. At the Waiuku Yards on Saturdayl- there was an average yarding of cattle, and prices \rere the same as late sales. Best , dairy cows and heifers sold at from L 7 to LlO 10s ; empty cows L 3 to L 3 18s heifers L 2 17s (idto L 3 17s ; yearling steers, L 2 12s fid to L 3 10s ; calvos, 20s to L 2 ; two and three-year-old steers, L 4 10s to L 6 ; bulls, L 5 to L 8 10s; pigs 10s to 13s for' weaners. Large quantity of sundries sold at ruling rates. MARKET BEPOET. Oats : Market firm at 3s Od ex store. Wheat: Sales steady. In fair demand at 4s (id ex store. Bran : Selling readily at LG 12s fid ex store, Pollard finds ready sale at L 6 10s ex store. Chaff ; Southern still holds firm at L7ss ex store for primo samples. Lonil not in great demand. Butter : Choice at IOJd ; first grade separator. lOjd; second grade Feparator l).;d ; cheaper grades for milling, 9d per lb with indications of lower rates ruling with tho increasing consignments.
