At the Haymarket on Friday last active young heavy spring-cart horses sold at fiom L3B to L4O; bakers' cart class, LI 6 10s to L 23 10s; buggy horses and hacks, Ll2 5s to L 23: light harness sorts, L 9 to Lto; gig ponies and ordinary hacks, £4 to Ll2 10s. A gig realised L2B and two light turnouts sold for L 22 and L 29 respectively.
AtWestfield Yards oh Thursday, October 5 ( about the usual number of dairy and store cattle came forward and were disposed of at ruling rates. Bost dairy cows and heifers made fromLßtoL!o lOs.others L 5 15 to L 7 10s, aged L 3 to L 5; fresh empty young cows, L 4 to Lo 12; store cows, L3lO -L 4 10; yearling to 18* month heifers, L 2 16s to L 4; two-year-olds, L 3 18s to L 5 10s, according to bre^d yearling steers, L 2 15s to L 3 ss; calves, Ll los to L 2 8s; young bulls.
