Tlie joint secretaries oi the newly formed Swimming Club have received communication from the Auckland Swimming Association stating that they would do all in their power to assist the new Club, furwarding rules etc. Mr T MeEwiu r \Vhen in Auckland last week, interviewed the Central Secretary, Mr Mulvorhill who informed him that it was probable that several swimmers, including Mr M. Champion may be induced to attend the Club's opening carnival. The appearance of such noted swimmers would be a big help to the club, while the revonue of the Hot Springs would greatly benefit.
