A. and P. ASSOCIATION.
A general Committee Meeting of the above was held on Saturday evening last, Mr Nicholls occupying the chair, and there was a good attendance.
Communication was read from the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association re " Proposed subsidy to Agricultural and Pastoral Associations."
The Secretary read a list of promised donations to the forthcoming Show which were satisfactory.
In.the class for best.cow for dairy purposes to be judged by milk test taken by the committee.it was-decided'to take the test about November 20th, "instead of on Show day- as previously done, it being: considered a fairer "time to take ■ a test as the" majority of- cows are at their best at that time.
Anew class for the four best calves for. dairy purposes was added to the schedule. It was decided to have a'leaflet of the ladies portion of the schedule printed.
