At Westfield on Friday wo held a clearing sale of Mr W. T. -Wood's Holstoin dairy cows and bulls. There was a lar^e attendance and high prices were realised. Pure-bred Holstein cows and heifers .sold at from 18 guineas to 72 guineas; yearlings, lo guineas to 40 guineas; calves, 3 guineas to 20 guineas ; bulls,. 24 guineas to 50 guineas; grado Holsteins, L 5 to L2G ; heifers, LO 10s toLIS; other cowe, L 2 10s to LlO ios.
At Papahnra on Monday, at the special dairy sale, over oOU cows and heifi-rs wore yarded. Buyers were numerous from the Waikaro and surrounding districts.
