HELENSVILLE HUNT CLUB.
. The second meet of tlie Helensville Hunt Club was held on Saturday July 13th' over Mr John Hand's property. Twenty two riders, including several ladies, participating. The huntsmen loft Mr Berman's shop at 2.30 p.m. and proceeded to Mr Jno Hands property where thej M-ent orer V 2 jumps in good style, the ladies particularly snowing good horsemanship over all the jumps, some of which were very stitf. At the conclusion of meet Mr Jno Hand Willed for "_lires cheers for the ladies" which were given in a Tory heai ty manner. This concluded a very successful day. following are some of those present. — Huntsman Mr Jnhn Hand (Main) ; whips, Mr Joe Kelly (Wharepapa), Mr Percy Williams (vVaikoukou) ; Miss Tattle, (Goleen), Miss H Donovan (Max), Miss N McLeod (Taihoa), Bjorth(Cato), Mrs JDriscoll (on black), Mr Kimmer (Statesman), Mr Ellett (Kitty), Mr Adlington (Darkey), Mr B Evans (Several), Vlr Jas Mackie (Eamble), Mr : R Hunter (Karri), *Mr (J Wilson (Cleo), Mr P Langley (Pipiriki;, Mr ■\V Laird (Federal), Mr M Mackie (.Wfangakura), Mastur Claude Kelly (Nettle) Mr jLen Foster (Kahu Kuri) Mr L Me Lood (Parakai). Driving Mrs McLeod and While and others. Soveral spectators witnessed the run from the hili.
