At Whangarei on the sth. insfc, we had a good yarding- of stoi'e cattle and as there was a full attendance of buyers they sold readily at similar prices to 'those obtained at Kamo. Sheep, low conditioned 4, 6 and full mouth ewes in lamb 10s 7d. Small ctoss bred woolly lambs 6s 6d.

On behali of Mr Arnold Jones we conducted a clearing sale *t " The, Pines ", Farm, Paruaßay on the Bth. inst. and have to report a most satisfactory sale. The farm implements ■were in good order and realised full value. The draught mares were nice quality, useful sorts and sold for L3O to L 43 and LSO, The cross bred ewe* i,n lamb: 15s. 2| years old steers Ik. 18-months old steers L 3: 12s 6d. Dairy cows L4to L 7. Empty cows L 2 10s (oil and low conditioned) Hack Ll4.
