A conference between the committee of the Imperial Institute and the Agents-General took place to-day, when the points of disagreement relating to the management of the Institute were discussed. The proceedings were of a most satisfactory character. The committee promised that colonial legislation as to the Imperial Institute should be fully secured, and that all suggestions made by the Agents will be carried out. The nature of their suggestions has not transpired. (Received December 3, 1.5 p.m.)
