[REUTER'S TELEGRAMS.] J'>y Elect it ic Telkgraph—Copyright >—< SHAW-LILLYWHITE TEAM V. NEW SOUTH WALES. (Received November 20, 1.30 a.m.) Sydney, November 19. The cricket mntch, Shaw-Lillywhite team v. eleven of New South Wales commenced to-day. The weather was fine, and the attendance moderate. The wicket was somewhat bumpy. The visitors, winning the toss, elected to bat, but failed to make a stand against the New South Wales team, the bowling of which wns dpad on the wicket, and the first four batsmen— Shrewsbury, Scotton, Barlow, and Barnes—were all out for a total of 28. The only batsman reaching double figures was Read, who scored 13, caught. The iunings closed for 74 runs. The home team then went in, the last wicket falling for 111 runs. O'Donnell, made 32, bowled; Moses, 31, not not. The Englishmen had only time to commence their second innings, and had made 4 runs without the loss of a wicket, when the stumps wero drawn for the day.
