SANDER A SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wocheuschrift 1870), VI osier. M.D. Professor at the UniverGriefswald, Germany, reports:— llie Eucalypti Extract proved maguifij cently successful in very severe contu; dions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scaleings, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, m fiammation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, ifec., are not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, Ac., London, the leading surgeon of the present lime, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard's Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antisep tic (means of preventing putrefaction). Doses, live to eight drops in a little sweetened water twice or three times daily SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From American Medical Journal Jan., 1882).—Pitzer, M.D., Professor Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt is the best remedy known in typhoma larial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph theria, scarlet fever, small-pox, Ac.; it effectually retards the disintegration ol the animal fluids, which might result in a general breaking-up of the blood and in death. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From St. Louis Electric Medical Journal, Dec., 1881). —Cancer of the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W ~ 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous dia thesis. Prescribed four drops to I* taken three times daily; also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. Ruttley, M.D., Prof., Ac., Philadelphia).—Since, in the case o) Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From the Clinical Record, of August, 1881).—Surgical Clinic of Professor MHntyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis Scirrhus of Breast—Excision : Eucalypti Extract employed as spray, and dressing. Eight days after operation Professors Bauer and M‘ln tyre noted the following con. dition ;—No swelling, heat or discolora tion, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties again. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).
