QANDER A SONS' EUCALYPTI 0 EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wocheuscluitt 1879), Mosler, M.D. Professoral the Uuivetsity, Griefswald, Germany, reports: — 1 he Eucalypti Extract proved inagnifi) cently successful in very severe contusions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scaldings, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, in flammation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, <fec., are not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, Ac., London, the leading surgeon of the present lime, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard's Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antisep tic (means of preventing putrefaction). (From American Medical Journal Jan., 1882). —Pitzer, M.D., Professoi Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt is the best remedy known in typhoma la rial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diph theria, scarlet fever, small-pox, Ac.; it effectually retards the disintegraiion of the animal fluids, which might result in a general breaking-up of the blood and in death. Ruttley, M.D., Prof,, Ac., Philadelphia).—Since, in the case of Mi Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract.
