Arrived, this morning, the steamship Te Anau, from the Bloff. Sailed, the steamship Tarawera, for the Bluff. The compromise case, Bell v. Clarke, was effected by Clarke paying a bill for £21,000. [Per Waihora, at the Bluff.] Sydney, July 6. A discovery of gold is reported to have been made at Norrata Hills, five miles from Stewart's Depot Creek. A miner named Howie first discovered the gold by unearthing a nugget of 6ozs. Sevetal smaller nuggets have also been found, and a small rush has set in. The miners are now making £3 to £4 weekly per man. A. party is now searching for a quartz reef.
