[REUTERS TELEGRAMS.] By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright TRIAL AND ACQUITTAL OF LYALL, LATE BANK MANAGER IN SOUTH AUSTRALIA. MELBOURNE PRODUCE MARKETS. HENRY HENTY'S AFFAIRS. (Received June 11, 1.30 a.in.) Adelaide, June 10. The trial of Mr Lyall, late manager of the Commercial Bank of South Australia, at Yankalilla, for alleged robbery of a large sum of notes from the bank in March last, was concluded to-day, when, after, hearing evidence, the prisoner was acquitted. Melbourne, June 10. Arrived this morning, the steamship Manapouri, from the Bluff. The local manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand, Limited, reports :—Shipping wheat quieter, at 5s 4d to 5s 5d a bushel; malting barley is quiet, at 3s 9d to 4s 3d ; New Zealand feed oats are improving, at 3s to 3s 4d; milling sorts are in good demand ; New Zealand oats, under bond, 2s 6d to 2s Bd. (Received June 11, 12.10 p.m.) June 11. Henry Henty, of the firm of James Henty and Co., has filed his schedule of bankruptcy. In his separate estate his liabilities are set down at ,£150,000 while the assets amount to £l6O (?). The libel actions brought against the Melbourne Argus, Age, and Daily Telegraph by Messrs Henty have been settled out of court.
