A man named William Rowley was arrested to-day for attempting to murder a man named O'Neill. It appears both were working together, and that Rowley told the police O'Neill shot himself. Subsequently suspicion fell on Rowley, and he was arrested. O'Neill, who was shot in the breast, and had his skull split open, is in a precaiious condition.
