Friday, March 5. [Before D. Macfarlane, Esq., Warden.] SUIT. Edward Brennan v. Jacob Jorgensen and five others.—Complainant pleaded that defendants he adjudged to have forfeited extended claim of six acres of land, at Upper Lanikins, held under certificate No. 43824, said claim not having been used for the purpose for j winch it was granted, but abandoned | more than one calendar month. The j case was adjourned for a fortnight, I complainant being ordered to post j summons on claim, in accordance with | clause 8 of " Mines Act, 1877," as per- ; sonal service cannot be effected. APPLICATIONS. C. F. Patrick O'Rourke, by his agent Mr rlannan, applied for a residence area, fronting Blake's tramway at Dilhnan's Town.— Application postponed for fourteen days.
