RUMOURS OF MORE RIOTS THREATENING LONDON.
(Received February 12, 1 a.m.) London, February 11.. The rumours which gained currency yesterday afternoon about a mob marching from Deptford were baseless. The night passed quietly. Small gatherings took place at various points, but were easily dispersed by the police. The excitement was heightened, and increased anxiety felt as a thickened fog set in towards evening. At yesterday’s wool sales 9200 bales were submitted to auction; the market being weak.
