[REUTERS TELEGRAMS.] By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. BARQUE ANTERIES FLOATED AND PROCEEDING TO NEW ZEALAND. NEW SOUTH WALES COLONIAL TREASURER’S ESTIMATES. (Received February 4, 10.15 p.m.) Adelaide, February 4. The barque Anteries was successfully floated off the Mai ion reef this morning. The vessel was found to he undamaged, and was allowed to proceed on her voyage to New Zealand. Melbourne. February 4. The Rotomahana arrived this morning from the Blnff. (Received February 5, 1.15 a.m.) Sydney, February 4. The Colonial Treasurer brought down his budget in the Legislative Assembly to-night. The estimates show a deficit for the current year of nearly £1,704,000. It is proposed to levy a tax of one halfpenny in the pound on real estate and capita] of all banks and on dividends payable to companies and all description of goods stored. The probable duties will also be increased. Mr Burns expects to realise £650,000 from the projected new taxation.
