A GREAT COMBINATION.
An event of unusual interest will take place at the Theatre Royal this evening, when the members of the Rede-Lnwrence Company and the Dillman’s Town Amateur Dramatic Club will appear in the “Colleen Bawn” (the greatest of all Irish dramas). Miss Lizzie Lawrence will represent Eily O’Connor, Miss Rogers Anne Chute, Mr Rede Myles, and Mr Dillon Corrigan ; the remainder of the cast will be undertaken by the members of the Dillman s Town Amateur Dramatic Club (who have generously consented to add lustre to the occasion). The prices of admission are merely nominal—two shillings to be the charge exacted for the front seats, one shilling for the back, while children will be only asked half prices. The magnitude of the attraction and the knowledge that it is the last appearance of the RedeLawrence Company, combined with the extraordinary reduction in price, should suffice to attract a monster gathering that is, if the love of the drama is not extinct in Kumara.
