THE COLORADO MINSTRELS.
The Colorado Minstrels gave their first entertainment in Kumara at the Theatie Royal on Saturday evenin'*'. The first part of the programme consisted of songs given hy five young ladies arranged on the stage in the semi-circular order customary with Minstrels, while the places of Bones and Tambo were filled by Messrs J. Norton and R, Devereatu. The ladies names are—Miss Edith Montrose, Miss Eva Oourtayne, Miss Constance Vere, Miss Claribel Lindsay, and Miss Amy Vaughan, who acted the part of interlocutress. MissJjLouise Howards presided at the pianoforte. The son*»B and jokes were well rendered and highly appreciated by the audience. In%he second part of the entertainment, tire duet by the Misses Vere and Lindsey, and the song and dance by Miss Vaughan deserve special mention. The “ Silver Shoe Dance” by the Norton Brothers was excellent; and their acrobatic dancing was marvellous, both effecting somersaults to the time of the music. The performance concluded with the amusing farce of “ Thompson's Dead.” We purpose giving a fuller notice in our next issue. Their second entertainment will be given at the Theatre Royal to-morrow evening.
