(Received October 1, 1.15 p.m.) Cairo, October 7. Further details to hand with regard to the recent encounter between the Abyssinian forces under Ras Aloula and the Hadendowa Arabs show that tha Abyssiniana gained a complete victory, carrying by assault a stronglyentrenched position and killing fully three thousand Arabs, amongst whom was Osraan Digna, whose body was identified after the engagement. The Abyssinians lost a large number of men.
