No further cases are reported. In the Legislative Assembly this afternoon, the Premier, Sir Alex. Stuart, gave notice to move the San Francisco mail resolutions. Iu the Assembly last night Sir Henry Parkes gave notice of the immediate dissolution of Parliament. Arrived, last evening, the steamship Wakatipu, en route to Wellington. (Received October 2, 12.45 p.m.) October 2. The quarterly revenue returns give the three months'revenueat£l,67o,ooo, being an increase on the corresponding period of last year of £49,000. The improvement is chiefly in the Customs, Railway, aud Post Office revenue. Melbourne, October 2. The new Licensing Bill has been passed through committee.
