The man Kobinson, charged with robbery from the Hotham branch of the Federal Bank, has been committed for trial, bail being accepted.

Government have received a telegram from the Agent-General, Mr Murray Smith, stating that the whole question of reduction of telegraphic charges is unsettled, pending the result of proposals made by German delegates. Mr Service in his reply, urged Mr Murray Smith fo use every effort to obtain the desired modification of the tariff.
